First and most importantly Lorelei finally gave up the Naunie. As some of you will remember a while back we tried to take it away from her. After oh, one night of crying and begging for it Mommy gave in and got her a new one. Since then that thing had to go everywhere and anywhere with her. You can imagine my fear was she'd have it until she was 10! Then she started to bite it. We kept telling her if you bite it you will break it and have to throw it away. Well she bit through it and that was the end of Naunie. She only asked for it once and we reminded her it was all gone to which she said "oh yeah, i bite it." and that was it. THANK YOU LORD!!!
Second big news of the year is Lorelei has shown a lot of interested in the potty for several months now but we just decided that we would start really trying to train her. We got her this potty and as soon as I got it out of the package on into the bathroom she ran in, took her pants and diaper off and pee peed on the potty!! YEAH!!!! She's done really really well since then going several times a day on it. So this is HUGE for us!
